會展英語

前言

　　21世紀的到來，給全面增強綜合國力、正大踏步昂首走向世界的中國帶來了諸多良機；申奧、申博的凱旋以及日益涌進的各類知名國際商展和重大會議在中國的成功舉辦醞釀著又一個全新命題：會議與展覽。如今，全國各高等院校紛紛開設(shè)與此有關(guān)的專業(yè)方向課程，與之相適應(yīng)的教材編寫也自然成了當務(wù)之急。在目前國內(nèi)尚沒有一本比較全面系統(tǒng)介紹會議與展覽的同類教材、國際上相關(guān)的教材書目又不易覓到的情況下，我們用不長的時間比較有條理地嘗試編寫出了本書，供大專院校相關(guān)專業(yè)和層次的教學使用。　　《會展英語》以教育部最新頒發(fā)的《高職高專教育英語課程教學基本要求》各項內(nèi)容為依據(jù)，特別強調(diào)“在加強英語語言基礎(chǔ)和基本技能的同時，重視培養(yǎng)學生實際使用英語進行交際的能力”。本教材以夠用、實用、致用為經(jīng)度延伸，以專業(yè)、職業(yè)、行業(yè)為緯度擴展，縱橫交織、錯落構(gòu)想，力圖編寫出符合時代特征、滿足專業(yè)要求、適應(yīng)教學又便于使用的高職高專專業(yè)階段的英語學習教材。本教材以實踐訓(xùn)練掌握各有關(guān)常規(guī)知識為主，以語言訓(xùn)練提高增強交際能力為輔，體現(xiàn)較寬松自由、強調(diào)實際應(yīng)用的自主互動學習過程來培養(yǎng)和建立起良好的職業(yè)準備和較高的職業(yè)素質(zhì)。

　　The Show of Fair Industry　　Chinas exhibition industry has been booming in the past two decades withthe sustained and rapid growth of national economy. As a developing and largemarket in Asia, China has been attracting more and more investors since theimplementation of opening and reform policy. Exhibition industry has beenplaying an important role in introducing advanced technology and equipment toChina and in promoting trade and economic co-operations between China andthe world. According to incomplete statistics of China Council for thePromotion of International Trade, both the number of international events heldin China and that of Chinese participation in foreign international events havebeen increasing. In addition, more new and modern exhibition facilities arebeing built up， more people are involved in related business　more rules andexpertise are needed this is why we are organizing various conventions andexhibitions in China, the modern shows forall　the　people　interested　in　Chinasexhibition industry.
