全國高等教育自學(xué)考試英語

前言

　　《全國高等教育自學(xué)考試英語1：模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo) 》的主編曾受高等教育自學(xué)考試委員會的委托主編了公共英語考試大綱（一）、（二），《大學(xué)英語自學(xué)教程》（上、下冊）和《大學(xué)英語自學(xué)教程輔導(dǎo)》（上、下冊）。以上各書都由高等教育出版社出版發(fā)行。但是由于編者們工作繁忙，當(dāng)時未能編寫出適應(yīng)考試用的模擬題集。　　現(xiàn)在學(xué)習(xí)《大學(xué)英語自學(xué)教程》和參加英語課程考試的人數(shù)日益增多，廣大學(xué)習(xí)者希望能有一本符合考試大綱要求的題集，用來督促和檢驗(yàn)他們的學(xué)習(xí)。為此，我們應(yīng)高等教育出版社之約，編寫了《全國高等教育自學(xué)考試英語（一）模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo)》和《全國高等教育自學(xué)考試英語（二）模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo)》，幫助廣大英語自學(xué)者檢驗(yàn)自己的學(xué)習(xí)成果和適應(yīng)國家的統(tǒng)一考試。英語（一）分冊與公共英語（一）自學(xué)考試相對應(yīng)，考試英語（二）分冊則與公共英語（二）自學(xué)考試相對應(yīng)?！　⒓印度珖叩冉逃詫W(xué)考試英語1：模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo) 》實(shí)際編寫工作的四位編委全都數(shù)次主講《大學(xué)英語自學(xué)教程》，其中有些編委還曾參加了《大學(xué)英語自學(xué)教程》的編寫和全國自學(xué)統(tǒng)一考試的命題和閱卷工作，因此對考試大綱、試題、教材以及學(xué)習(xí)者的情況都很熟悉?！　　度珖叩冉逃詫W(xué)考試英語1：模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo) 》（一）、（二）冊各包括十套試題和題解，其中有四套是最近兩年全國統(tǒng)一考試使用過的題目，另外六套屬于模擬試題。這些模擬試題的命題原則、題型、內(nèi)容、難度及覆蓋面等都嚴(yán)格遵照考試大綱的要求，因此是真正意義上的仿真試題?！　　度珖叩冉逃詫W(xué)考試英語1：模擬試卷與應(yīng)試指導(dǎo) 》具有以下特點(diǎn)：　　1．題解內(nèi)容比較詳細(xì)，不僅提供了答案和解釋，而且還提供解題的方法和思路。　　2．許多地方對語法和詞匯用法進(jìn)行了補(bǔ)充講解。

　　Questions 26 to 30 are based on the following passage.　　Mark felt that it was time for him to take part in his community,so he went to the neighborhood meeting after work. The areas citycouncilwoman （女議員） was leading a discussion about how the quality of life was decreasing. The neighborhood faced many problems.　　Mark looked at the charts taped to the walls. There were chartsfor parking problems, crime, and for problems in vacant buildings.People were supposed to suggest solutions to the councilwoman.　　It was much for Mark. "The problems are too big," he thought.He turned to the man next to him and said, "I think this is a waste ofmy time. Nothing I could do would make a difference here. "　　Mark thought some more on his way to the bus stop. "Peopleshould just take care of themselves," he decided. "Thats enough todo. I cant take on all the problems of the world. "　　As he neared the bus stop, Mark saw a woman carrying a grocery bag and baby. She was trying to unlock her car, but she didnt havea free hand. As Mark got closer, her other child, a little boy, suddenly darted into the street. The woman tried to reach for him, butas she moved, her bag shifted and groceries started to fall out. Markran to take the boys arm and led him back to his mother. Then hepicked up the groceries while the woman smiled in relief. "Thanks！"she said. "Youve got great timing！"　　"Just being neighborly," Mark said. As he rode home, heglanced at the walls of the bus. On one of them was "Small acts ofkindness add up. " Mark smiled and thought, "Maybe thats a goodplace to start. "
