內(nèi)容概要

  《英語(yǔ)2(教師用書(shū))》為系列教材之一。為了適應(yīng)高等職業(yè)教育領(lǐng)域英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的改革和發(fā)展,高等教育出版社引進(jìn)了英國(guó)PLUS系列英語(yǔ)教材,委托熟悉高等職業(yè)學(xué)校英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的專家及教師根據(jù)教育部2000年制訂的《高職高專教育英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)基本要求》進(jìn)行了改編。本系列教材共3冊(cè),1、2冊(cè)供高等職業(yè)學(xué)校兩個(gè)學(xué)期使用,(《高等職業(yè)學(xué)校英語(yǔ)預(yù)備級(jí)》可供低起點(diǎn)的學(xué)生選用。本系列教材可前接由PLUS系列教材改編的《中等職業(yè)學(xué)校英語(yǔ)》,供初中畢業(yè)入學(xué)的5年制高職學(xué)生使用;后接《實(shí)用業(yè)務(wù)英語(yǔ)》,形成一個(gè)完整的教學(xué)體系,供2-3年高職高專學(xué)生使用。  本教材以全新的視角體現(xiàn)了日前國(guó)內(nèi)外外語(yǔ)教學(xué)研究的成果,以與學(xué)生生活貼近的“話題”(topic)為主線,以形式多樣而又便于操作的“活動(dòng)”(activity)方式,創(chuàng)設(shè)有意義的語(yǔ)言情境,循序漸進(jìn)地訓(xùn)練學(xué)生聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)四項(xiàng)基本技能,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際的能力。具體說(shuō)《英語(yǔ)2(教師用書(shū))》有以下突出特點(diǎn):  1.綜合訓(xùn)練聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)等技能  聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)四項(xiàng)語(yǔ)言技能是相互聯(lián)系的統(tǒng)一體。本教材注重對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)等技能的綜合訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生的各項(xiàng)語(yǔ)言技能得以協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展?! ?.體現(xiàn)以教師為主導(dǎo),學(xué)生為主體的教學(xué)原則  本教材以教學(xué)活動(dòng)的方式,使學(xué)生通過(guò)獨(dú)立思考、成對(duì)及小組活動(dòng)協(xié)作完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),改變了教師chalk and talk,學(xué)生機(jī)械記憶的教學(xué)模式,有利于激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)精神以及自我管理、自我評(píng)價(jià)意識(shí),從而建立起學(xué)習(xí)的自信心與成就感?! ?.培養(yǎng)科學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)方法與學(xué)習(xí)技巧  本教材在編寫(xiě)及改編的過(guò)程中,有意識(shí)地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生科學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)方法與學(xué)習(xí)技巧,如聽(tīng)力活動(dòng)中的泛聽(tīng)與精聽(tīng),閱讀活動(dòng)中的略讀、跳讀、抓大意與讀特定細(xì)節(jié)等。  4.培養(yǎng)“跨文化意識(shí)”跨文化交際中的文化因素在外語(yǔ)教學(xué)中具有特殊意義。本教材注意語(yǔ)言材料與文化內(nèi)容的融合,大量介紹了英美等國(guó)的文化風(fēng)俗、名勝古跡、成語(yǔ)典故、史實(shí)軼事等。

  Question 1  Man: In my opinion co-educational schools are great for boys, but not for girls.Woman: So, do you suggest we send Bill to the co-ed school and have poor Suzie commute to the  girls school? Shell have a fifty-minute train journey, you know...  Man: Well, Ive been reading about this... Girls do really well in these schools because they dont  have boys to worry about or boys to tell them how stupid they are...Woman: Come to think of it, life with boys at school was a hassle...they always teased us...and if I  asked a question in maths theyd laugh...and some of those teachers didnt help...but then,  that was quite some time ago...Who knows what its like nowadays...  Man: Dont think that things have changed that much...Question 2 Julie: I cant believe the student union is at it again. Brett: Yes, I know...I mean, were all interested in issues concerning our school, but was this meeting  really necessary in the middle of the day? Julie: I reckon some of them thought it was a good way to get out of a lesson. Brett: Well, what can you do ... when even the teachers tell us we have to go ... I think its because  theyre concerned about cuts in funds, too. Julie: Yeah ... but still, we could have met after school.Question 3Woman: Yeah, you know the type...all superior like...just because hes got a music school charging  high fees...I couldnt believe this teacher —— if one can call him that ... Do you know what he  said to rne?..,"Wouldnt you agree, Mrs Philips, that children should be seen and not  heard?"...Well!
