內容概要

　　本書是將我國人大常委會、我國相關政府部門近年來頒布的有關生物安全的法律、法規(guī)、標準或技術規(guī)范的中文版本翻譯而成英文版本。其內容涉及到傳染病防治；環(huán)境保護；國境衛(wèi)生檢疫；進出境動植物檢疫；病原微生物實驗室生物安全；獸醫(yī)實驗室生物安全；人類和動物病原微生物的保藏、包裝、運輸；傳染性廢物處置；實驗動物以及基因工程生物/遺傳修飾生物等共計40余部法律、法規(guī)、標準或規(guī)范，幾乎囊括了我國已頒布的絕大多數(shù)現(xiàn)行的生物安全法規(guī)和標準。由于本匯編中收集翻譯的這些法規(guī)標準較為齊全，它可充分反映我國政府對國家生物安全的重視程度，也可集中體現(xiàn)我國近年來在生物安全法制體系建設中的成就和生物安全水平。

版權頁：插圖：Article 1 These Regulations are formulated for the purposes of strengtheningadministration of the biosafety in pathogenic microorganism laboratories （hereinafterreferred to as laboratories）and protecting the health of laboratory staff and thepublic.Article 2 These Regulations are applicable to administration of the biosafety inlaboratories and of the laboratory activities conducted by such laboratories within theterritory of the People's Republic of China.The term pathogenic microorganisms in these Regulations means organisms thatare pathogenic to human beings or animals.The term laboratory activities in these Regulations means teaching, testing,diagnosis and other activities related to bacteria （virus） strains or samples of pathogenicmicroorganisms that are conducted by a laboratory.
