內(nèi)容概要

本書(shū)是在作者為英語(yǔ)專業(yè)開(kāi)設(shè)的英語(yǔ)社會(huì)與文化課程講義的基礎(chǔ)．卜編著而成的，包括英國(guó)和美國(guó)兩卷內(nèi)容。每一卷包括四大板塊，分別為該國(guó)國(guó)土與人民、歷史、政治體制、社會(huì)與文化生活。每一部分設(shè)有“內(nèi)容導(dǎo)讀”，每章由“要點(diǎn)聚焦”、“章節(jié)內(nèi)容”、“思考探究”、“課外鏈接”以及部分知識(shí)點(diǎn)腳注組成。編寫(xiě)過(guò)程中著力體現(xiàn)以下原則和特點(diǎn)：①社會(huì)知識(shí)與文化知識(shí)相結(jié)合，交際文化與知識(shí)文化并重；②教學(xué)與自學(xué)并重，著力培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自學(xué)能力和信息檢索等能力；③學(xué)習(xí)和探究相結(jié)合；④脈絡(luò)明晰、易于知識(shí)整合；⑤貼近現(xiàn)實(shí)生活。    本書(shū)主要用于英語(yǔ)專業(yè)本科教學(xué)，同時(shí)可用于英語(yǔ)專業(yè)?？坪妥詫W(xué)考試、非英語(yǔ)專業(yè)研究生英語(yǔ)社會(huì)與文化教學(xué)。
