內(nèi)容概要

本書(shū)是在原版Encyclopedia of Toxicology(2nd edn)的基礎(chǔ)上對(duì)詞條進(jìn)行的分類重排。編成三卷，分別為精選卷、拓展卷與社科管理卷，更加適合國(guó)內(nèi)讀者閱讀。本書(shū)涵蓋了毒理學(xué)研究的各個(gè)領(lǐng)域，從基礎(chǔ)到前沿，甚至一些尚存爭(zhēng)議的問(wèn)題也包含其中。     本書(shū)收集了1057個(gè)條目，按英文字母順序排列，內(nèi)容詳盡，信息量寬廣。書(shū)中既有毒理學(xué)的基本理論、學(xué)科體系知識(shí)的介紹，也包含有毒理學(xué)專業(yè)知識(shí)、新的進(jìn)展資料、毒理學(xué)派生出的相關(guān)社會(huì)科學(xué)問(wèn)題(如歷史事件、法律、條規(guī)、教育、國(guó)際和區(qū)域組織等)的信息資料。本百科全書(shū)還對(duì)近年來(lái)出現(xiàn)的毒理學(xué)新名詞首次做了比較系統(tǒng)和權(quán)威性的解釋，如鳥(niǎo)類生態(tài)毒理學(xué)、計(jì)算機(jī)毒理學(xué)、基準(zhǔn)劑量、致癌效力因素、代謝組學(xué)等。很多在其他專著、教科書(shū)、工具書(shū)中查不到的毒理學(xué)或相關(guān)的信息資料，讀者都能在此百科全書(shū)中找到。本百科全書(shū)在編寫風(fēng)格上也完全不同于以往出版的毒理學(xué)專著、教科書(shū)或工具書(shū)，真正做到了寬細(xì)結(jié)合、深淺恰當(dāng)，適合于不同專業(yè)和層次的讀者參閱。    第二版百科全書(shū)匯集了392作者提供的1057條目錄，而第一版只包括200名作者提供的749條目錄。實(shí)際上，第一版中所有條目的內(nèi)容在第二版中都得到了充實(shí)，而某些條目則完全進(jìn)行了更新。在第二版中新出現(xiàn)的308個(gè)條目中，包括鳥(niǎo)類生態(tài)毒理學(xué)、基準(zhǔn)劑量、殺蟲(chóng)劑、計(jì)算機(jī)毒理學(xué)、致癌效力因素、代謝組學(xué)、化學(xué)事件、蒙地卡羅分析、非致死性化學(xué)武器、無(wú)脊椎動(dòng)物生態(tài)毒理學(xué)、藥物濫用、癌癥化療因子和消費(fèi)產(chǎn)品等等。許多針對(duì)特殊化學(xué)物的條目都是全新的，而書(shū)中搜錄的國(guó)際組織也得到了很大的擴(kuò)展。某些條目羅列了許多著名的毒物中毒相關(guān)事件：如美國(guó)拉夫運(yùn)河事件、泰晤士海灘事件、切爾諾貝利事件和三里島事件等。另外許多條目涉及毒理學(xué)知識(shí)的社會(huì)應(yīng)用，如文化毒理學(xué)、環(huán)境犯罪、著名投毒者和中毒可件、古代化學(xué)生物戰(zhàn)以及美國(guó)環(huán)境運(yùn)動(dòng)歷史等。因此，新版的毒理學(xué)百科全書(shū)在長(zhǎng)度、廣度、以及深度上都對(duì)毒理學(xué)的許多方面進(jìn)行了更廣泛和深入的概述。
