前言

　　高職高專教育是我國高等教育體系的重要組成部分。近年來，高職高專教育呈現(xiàn)出前所未有的發(fā)展勢頭，辦學思想不斷明確，辦學規(guī)模不斷擴大，教育教學改革不斷深化。目前，高職高專學校數(shù)量和在校生總數(shù)均占到普通高等學校的一半以上?！　∥阌怪靡?，目前已經(jīng)出版的一批高職高專教材在“主導教學方向、穩(wěn)定教學秩序”方面起到了很好的作用。但是，現(xiàn)有的教材依然存在品種不多，可供學校選擇的余地不大；一些教材不適應高職高專院校的教學要求，特別是在如何“提高教學質(zhì)量、創(chuàng)新教學內(nèi)容”上做得還不夠。　　目前，我國的高職教育發(fā)展面臨著新的形勢——在《2003-2007年教育振興行動計劃》中，提出了“職業(yè)教育與培訓創(chuàng)新工程”的任務，要求以促進就業(yè)為目的，進一步轉變高等職業(yè)技術學院的辦學指導思想，實行多樣、靈活、開放的人才培養(yǎng)模式，把教育教學與生產(chǎn)實踐、社會服務、技術推廣結合起來，加強實踐教學和就業(yè)能力的培養(yǎng)。適應這一要求，以“產(chǎn)學結合、就業(yè)導向、推行雙證、兩年學制”為主要特點的專業(yè)建設和課程改革即將在高職高專院校展開，我國的高職高專教育又面臨著一次新的教學改革與創(chuàng)新的機遇。

內(nèi)容概要

　　《高職高?；A課教材系列：大學英語1》是由中國高等教育學會組織的一部選材新穎、時代感強、獨具特色的，以高職高專為起點的英語教材。本教材在編寫內(nèi)容上充分考慮了專科學生的特點。以《普通高等專科英語課程教學基礎要求》為指導，以“實用為主、夠用為度”為原則，重點突出學生運用英語的語言能力、交際能力、寫作能力，實用性強?！陡呗毟邔；A課教材系列：大學英語1》主要適合高職高專院校在校學生作為教材使用，也可以作為其他職業(yè)培訓的參考教材。
