作者簡介
在中國近代近千名軍閥中，張宗昌是名聲最差的一個，此人一天學沒上過，也是軍閥中文化最低的，人稱“狗肉將軍，嗜賭成癖,終日與骨牌為伍。（當?shù)厝朔Q玩牌九叫“吃狗肉”,故張宗昌有“狗肉將軍”綽號）。張宗昌最為世人所知的綽號當屬“三不知將軍”這一大名。三不知，即：不知道自己有多少槍，不知道自己有多少錢，不知道自己有多少姨太。
就是這樣一個大字不識的軍閥居然喜歡風雅， 據(jù)有關人士考證，在1925年張宗昌統(tǒng)治山東期間，曾經(jīng)花重金，請出清末最后一科的狀元王壽彭做山東教育廳長，并拜王為師，讓這位狀元公教他做詩，結果出了一本詩集《效坤詩鈔》(效坤為軍閥張宗昌的字),分贈友好。

As if God needs to puff a squre.
If God ain't need to puff a squre,
How come there's one more chain of fire?
